Bethel Vina Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the successful completion of a 64.3 kWp rooftop solar system at its factory in collaboration with Handong 365 Energy JSC. This project, operational as of October 22, 2024, marks a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainable operations and reducing our environmental footprint.
As our export production has grown over the years, so too has our responsibility to minimize our impact on the planet. The new solar system will generate clean energy to supplement the electricity provided by EVN, Vietnam's commercial electricity provider. This hybrid approach ensures a reliable power supply while significantly reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. The system is projected to generate a substantial amount of clean energy annually, contributing to a significant reduction in our overall energy costs and carbon footprint.
Despite the challenges posed by Typhoon Yagi, which impacted the timely delivery of materials, Handong 365 Energy JSC demonstrated remarkable efficiency and resilience by completing the project in just 47 days. This achievement underscores their dedication and expertise in renewable energy solutions.
The project's completion was celebrated with an official ceremony on October 22nd, 2024. Mr. Lee In Hyuck, General Director of Bethel Vina, and Mr. Park Jin Ho, General Director of Handong 365 Energy, formalized the partnership by signing the final minutes and hand-over documents. Following the signing, they conducted a joint inspection of the rooftop installation, highlighting the collaborative spirit and shared vision behind this initiative. Handong technicians and Bethel representatives were also present to record the initial meter readings, symbolizing the beginning of a new era of sustainable energy production for our company.
